Recently, First Bible Founder, Pastor Corey D. Johnson had the privilege accept the challenge from President Sam Tolbert of the National Baptist Convention of America, International, Inc. to help organize and lead the Conventions response to the extreme need for the work of Long-Term Disaster recovery. In partnership with the Carpenter's Hope, the NBCA has long been involved in disaster response with Pastor Johnson since he served with Lott Carey in the capacity as at first responders, furnishing supplies and doing the initial cleanout following a disaster. Together, we will provide service opportunities for our membership who have a strong desire to expand that ministry to include the long-term recovery work. as a ministry of the Convention.
